(York, PA) Wagman Heavy Civil, Inc. received two safety awards at the Heavy Construction Contractors Association (HCCA) Safety and Infrastructure Awards Dinner, held at the Chantilly National Golf and Country Club, on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. These awards recognize outstanding safety performance and excellence in construction. Wagman accepted a 2025 Safety Award, in the Highway/Bridge Construction/General Contractor category of 500,000 – 1,000,000 manhours, for work performed in the DC, Maryland & Virginia region.

In addition, Wagman Heavy Civil superintendent Paul Bacon received a 2025 Safety Leadership Award. This award, which was selected by the HCCA Safety Committee, recognizes an individual who has made an impact on the safety of their workplace by inspiring others, implementing safety in all work practices and mentoring others when possible. By leading by example, Paul excels at safety and models Wagman’s core values with his actions. He is committed to keeping all Wagman jobsite crews, subcontractors, inspectors and the general public safe.
