Wagman Employees Recognized at Annual Safety Awards Banquet
(York, PA ) The Maryland Transportation Builders and Materials Association (MTBMA) recently held their 5th annual Contractor Supervision Recognition Safety Awards Banquet. This event recognized accident-free performances during the 2016 calendar year. Fourteen Wagman employees were recognized for their leadership, which was responsible for maintaining accident-free worksites on Wagman’s Maryland projects.
The Wagman supervisors who received the award were: Brian Sluder, Fred O’Brien, Steve Wood, Bryan Hyde, Michael Benney, Mark Bixler, Mark Crist, Rodney Price, Joshua Schmitz, Steve Tippett, David Muth, Dustin Burkett, Jorge Gomez and Octavio Resendiz.
Greg Andricos, president and COO of Wagman Heavy Civil comments, “We are proud to see our leadership in Maryland be recognized for their attentiveness to safety. Keeping people safe is always a priority and everyone at Wagman has a role in safety.”
In addition, Steve Tippett and Fred O’Brien each received the Distinguished Supervisor Award at the event. Wagman nominated them for exemplifying Wagman’s core values of safety and innovation. Andricos adds, “We are especially excited for the Distinguished Supervisor Award recipients who have proactively addressed potentially hazardous situations within project work zones and provided opportunities for others to learn from these experiences.”
